Sonic Boom Six - The High Cost Of Living

Video released September 1st 2013

Boom return with the video to “The High Cost of Living” taken from their fourth album, Sonic Boom Six. The message of the song is clear; the price tag is not the only thing that raises the cost of what you’re being sold. Slave labour in third world countries is used by numerous companies for the manufacture of the goods you’re sold, by buying into this you’re continuing the mistreatment of people. Laila has her trademark high pitch vocals while Barney shines with his parts over the electronic beat that was present throughout the album this is taken from.

With new material being worked on by the band I'm hoping for a return to their ska-punk roots after the more dance oriented theme we saw on the last album but new material from this band is always reason for celebration for me. Another great track and video from one of my favourite bands who never seem to stop working, it’s been nice seeing your faces again.
